So what's this about?

Some have wondered what this story is ultimately about- war, intrigue, corruption?  Well, if you've been here then you've seen the subtitle: New Evolution. New Age. New Genesis. New Enlightenment. And that's true. It's what will be explored over the course of a series of stories that begins with Part 1: Shroud of Shadows.

And while war, intrigue, and corruption are part of the equation (and there's more than that too), the real gist of Epoc is the human future.

Summed up, it can be said thusly...
I'm interested in the course, the path, humanity will take in the centuries and eons to come.  What will those courses look like?  Will they be fraught with difficulties?  With triumphs?  Well if previous human history is any indication we'll probably do a fair share of muddling through along with a respectable amount of victories at the same time.

But will there be an omega point somewhere along the line as physicist, Dr. Frank J. Tipler says in his book The Physics of Immortality: Modern Cosmology, God and the Resurrection of the Dead?

Let's start thinking about that, for there are some highly intellectual (and otherwise) people who already are, and who are thinking and acting in ways that may take us (or some of us) there.

 More to come.

Prepare for starship departure...

Friends,

Welcome to Epoc Enuma SciFi (EESF)!  This place is for me and you in particular.  Me- to share my joy in toiling for five years to write a quality SF work that is now being published for science fiction enthusiasts.  You- to share in that joy, and to share your ideas, questions, and interests in the world of speculative fiction and all that it means.
So let's step forward, together exploring the unknown corners of existence in a universe of unlimited possibilities.

As a first step, enjoy the cover art from my forthcoming story set to be on shelves (and the Net of course!) this July 2012.

Jumping into hyperspace... together!
